Nancy Grace

Of all the pundits and journalists on CNN, there is only one which can claim status as a Real American: Nancy Grace.

The banalities that spurt out of her flapping lips with an amount of moral indignation proportionally inverse to her insight tinges her listener’s ears like artificial dew produced by Dow Chemical Co. In her courtroom, called CNN Headline News, she acts as the judge, jury – and sometimes even executioner – of various white women accused of crimes that the media, in all its wisdom, has decided to inconvenience with continual invasions of privacy. Like a Real American, Nancy Grace is not fooled by the myth of “innocent until proven guilty.” The Founders of this great Christian nation intended for journalists with limited amounts of information to be the Trier of fact. The blasphemous idea that a jury should be the Trier of fact is ridiculous. That idea was created by British socialists. Nancy Grace ceaselessly spouts off moralistic condemnations of suspected criminals with full confidence of her own correctness.  For her contributions to our legal system, Citizens United For Democracy considers Nancy Grace to be a Real American par excellence. She perpetually finds and denounces no-good shits. This sort of journalistic behavior is not only highly entertaining, since it is essentially a refined version of schadenfreude, but a moral imperative for talking heads as well. Juries are supposed to look to pseudo-journalists to decide the accused’s fate – not the other way around. Nancy Grace knows this and is not fooled by the liberals and liars.
